Family Stay

The family housing gives you the chance to get the maximum from your immersion program. You can feel the real Argentinean life style and you can practise your Spanish 24 hours a day. It is important to remark that most of the host families have been working with us since the beginning of the School several years ago. They perfectly know what the role of a host is. You will feel with your family that you are “home”. You won’t be the first to keep in contact with the family once you go back home. Families belong to Argentina’s upper middle class. Their homes are located in beautiful and safe neighbourhoods like Palermo, Barrio Norte and Recoleta. Public transport is good down those areas, easily accessible and buses run frequently.

The family houses we offer include a private bedroom, change of towels and bedclothes, the use of a bathroom (in some cases they have a private one), the use of the kitchen, living room, patio or balcony. You can receive phone calls, but you can’t make them (there are lots of public places to make phone calls). Of course you will have to follow the few rules of the family, however you will have considerable freedom. You will have your own keys, so you can come and go as you please.

Payments are to be made in advance (i.e. at the beginning of the week or month) in cash and the shortest period of time for which a room can be rented is one week.
