Why Learning Spanish language?

Which is the social situation at Buenos Aires?
Argentina is a safe country and Buenos Aires welcomes tourism today more than ever. The turmoil of December 2001 has passed long ago and although some protests continue here and there, they are mostly limited to peaceful ones. You will find tourists taking pictures during the protests actually! Since 2004 our economy is prosperous, fostering a better social atmosphere in general.
Is it a safe city to stay at?
Of course, you have to take precautions during your stay but these are the same ones everyone should take in a large city like New York, Athens, or Rome: You should avoid certain districts at late night; protect yourself from pickpockets in certain crowded areas; take only registered cabs, and those clearly marked as "Radio Taxis". There are literally thousands of them everywhere in the city. Moreover, this is the city where we do live, and we are the ones who help you in selecting your housing in areas that may be as safe or safer than your home town, and we will advise about the activities you have in mind in case you have doubts.
Is Buenos Aires an expensive destination?
Due to the current exchange rate (1 dollar = 2.90 pesos +/- // 1 euro = 4 pesos) Buenos Aires is by far a very convenient destination for tourists. Nowadays it is the fourth cheapest city in the world, though it continues to be named "The Paris of South America" because the main reasons for that comparision remains. You will visit an excellent destination at affordable and in some cases preatty cheap rates and prices.
Will I have easy access to telephones and Internet?
Sure! You will be gladly surprised to see how many public places allow you to connect to the Internet with broadbandband connections for some coins. And even some coffee shops and public spaces have WI FI. Telephones are everywhere in the streets and there are also shops called "locutorios" open 24/7 open which exclusively provide you with telephones to make all kind of calls and computers with Internet access. A local phone call costs 0.23 pesos though at night and in the weekends the rates are lower.
Is there something I should know regarding health care, etc?
No at all. No vaccines are requiered to enter to our country. There are no risks with the food and the water is completely drinkable, at least in town. You will happily find that many worldwide tipes of food, beverages, fruits and vegetables, candy and chocolate are handy and at good prices. And the same applies to medicines and health care products. Even if you have special eating habits are certain health needs you won't face problems at all.
